Supermodel Jodie Kidd, her sister Jemma and niece Amber modelled Puffa’s limited edition charity polo shirts to help raise awareness of the Animal Health Trust and The British Horse Society's Strangles Appeal. Puffa has designed a limited edition charity Strangles polo shirt to help The British Horse Society and the Animal Health Trust raise £250,000 towards vital Strangles research. Puffa will donate £2 from the sale of each polo shirt and hopes to contribute £50,000 to the AHT / BHS Strangles Appeal. This will go directly into Animal Health Trust research into the development of improved means of diagnosis and prevention for Strangles – with the aim of ultimately eradicating the disease. In an exclusive photoshoot with Puffa, Jodie and Jemma modelled the polo shirts while riding their horses and spending time with their dogs. Amber had great fun on the day and loved wearing the junior size Puffa Strangles polo shirt. Jodie Kidd, whose first ever photo-shoot was with Puffa when she was 17, said she was "delighted" to model Puffa’s polo shirt to help raise awareness of the Strangles campaign.She said: I am honoured to be working closely with Puffa to help fight Strangles. "I have seen firsthand the devastating effects of this disease - how it closes down yards and the suffering it causes.”
Sister Jemma said: "We have both grown up wearing Puffa. The polo shirts look fantastic and we hope that people will show their support for the campaign by wearing one." Jodie, Jemma and Amber are modelling the navy, ice blue and white polo shirts but it is also comes in candy pink. A unisex fit is also available. Jemma will continue to support the Strangles campaign at The Royal International show, Hickstead, where she will be signing Puffa shirts on Friday 27th July.
